SPE Event - 25. April

The SPE event will be held on the 25. April at GEUS in Copenhagen.

The main Speech will be held by GEUS  own Senior Reservoir Geologist/Geochemist Nield Schoubo and will be about Evaluation of the Alum Shale Play in Scandinavia.

 

Remember to sign up by the 20' April the latest if you hope to join for the dinner.

Next SPE Event - 14. March

Remember to sign up for next event - at DONG ENERGY. The SPE event will be held on the 14. March at the Dong Energy office in Gentofte.

The main Speech will be held by Dongs own Peter V Balslev and will be about the successful Hejre Drilling Campaign, with the subtitle “How to plan luck and Improve – as a Habit”.

Instead of a formal dinner Dong will serve more informal Tapas and there will a second speech held by Kenny Krogh Nielsen from Lloyd’s Register and Casper Schytte Hemmingsen from DTU. Their combined speech will be “How can Computational Fluid Dynamics Improve Reservoir Simulations and Completion Strategies?”

18:00 – 21:00 Speaches and Tapas.

Next SPE event - February 23'rd

Welcome to the Second SPE (Copenhagen Section) meeting in the Year 2017. - use the link in the upcoming events in the right side of this webpage.

This Meeting - Held on February 23'rd -  will be hosted by Maersk Oil  and the main speak will be under the title: "Culzean: Technology Enabling People" presented by Peter Hepburn from Maersk Oil.

The Dinner speak will be done by Jedrzej Bryla who will give us a presentation on Improving Wellbore Stability through Shale-Fluid Compability Optimisation. 

The Meeting will be held at Mærsk Oil, Esplanaden 50, Copenhagen K.

Welcome to the first SPE Meeting in 2017

Welcome to the First meeting in the Year 2017.

This first meeting of the year - January 25'th -  will be hosted by Hess and the main speak will be under the title: "How  can microfracturing improve Reservoir Management ?" presented by SPE Distinguished Lecturer Mayank Malik.

The Dinner speak will be done by Hess Employees Marianne Rosengreen and Christian Rau Schiott who will give us a presentation on Ocean Bottom Seismic -  South Arne.

The Meeting will be held at the beautiful Moltkes Palæ, Dronnings Tværgade 2A, in Cobenhagen K

Please note that there is a limited number of Dinner seats - so even if you are within the deadline for dinner registration and the dinner "tic box" is not available - this means that all dinner seats have been occupied.
